As part of the Tier 2 Solutions team, you will be at the crossroads between Solutions, Engineering, Product, and our customers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with cloud providers like AWS / AZURE / GCP and their APIs
  • Investigate customer escalations, lead technical calls with clients, and handle high priority issues related to customer's Cloud integrations
  • Build out documentation and knowledge base articles for a variety of technologies in your product area
  • Run office hours and lead learning sessions for the Solutions team
  • Prepare the worldwide Solutions team for new products and features, ensuring the technical proficiency of the team
  • Partner with Engineering and Product to identify areas of improvement to better serve our customers

Who You Are:

  • Self-motivated, detail-attentive, and have a desire for continuous learning
  • A tinkerer with previous technical experience and a basic knowledge of Linux
  • A master at one thing: tell us all about it
  • A critical thinker who defaults to a client-centric approach. Experienced as a customer-facing Support or Solutions Engineer, and comfortable working on difficult customer issues
  • Familiar with AWS / Azure / GCP consoles and UI
  • Someone who knows how to spin up resources in cloud infrastructure to help reproduce a issue
  • Someone who understands the cloud-specific terminology to help customers on technical calls
  • Able to pick up new skills quickly and come up with creative solutions to complex problems
  • Experienced in multi-channel technical support at a SaaS company (5+ years of related experience)

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $98,000.00 - $143,000.00, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
