Position Summary

The IT Security Administrator works closely with the IT Security Supervisor and IT Security Manager on security initiatives for the company. This position collaborates with the IT team, the Capabilities Team, and indirectly with the Reyes Holdings Office of the Chief Information Systems Security Officer.

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To

  • Remediate vulnerabilities within the company as directed by the Reyes Holdings Office of the CISO and IT Security Supervisor
  • Prioritize and mitigate security risks associated with systems and applications that have a high technical complexity and/or involve significant challenges to the business
  • Document, train, mentor, and support Field IT teams to drive/assist with vulnerability remediation
  • Monitor and report risk and vulnerability status to management and advise on how to improve the process
  • Monitor and report on compliance with security policies and vulnerability trends
  • Support planning and execution of Penetration Testing between Reyes Holdings’ Office of the CISO and application owners
  • Maintain compliance with existing IT Security Protocols for applications and systems
  • Communicate technical application security concepts to business users, developers, architects, and managers
  • Assist on enabling technologies for security compliance
  • Inform and support vendors with security standards i.e., Security Assessment Review, Data Protection Agreement, etc.
  • Assist the broader IT team with emerging technologies using a security first mindset
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Experience

  • Associate’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems/Science and 3-4 plus years of experience in IT Security for a medium to enterprise level organization or HS Diploma/GED and 5 plus years of experience in IT Security or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence and impact decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong ability to work independently and be self-driven as it relates to workload
  • Knowledge of vulnerability assessments and patch management tools
  • Experience with application security technical controls and common vulnerability remediation
  • Experience working in a decentralized environment
  • Experience supporting and administering enterprise-level applications
  • Experience with NIST, PCI, IOTCA, or similar compliance frameworks
  • Experience with Cloud, Hybrid Cloud and on-premise security designs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems/Science
  • Certification in Security+, CISSP, or equivalent certification
  • 5 plus years of experience in IT Security for an enterprise level organization
  • Experience working in and supporting a decentralized environment
  • Experience working in a 24X7 distribution, manufacturing or supply chain company
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment and patch management tools
  • Experience with OT/IOT/IT network convergence
  • Experience with Power BI and Power Platform
