As the Associate Manager, Modern Endpoint Architect, you will be responsible for updating, modernizing and setting architectural direction for our highly-visible endpoint platform at a macro and micro level. This role requires you to look at the overall environment with an innovative and breakthrough mindset to set direction for our Mobile & Endpoint environment, continue to modernize to meet business needs, and ensure supportability through and through. In this role you will work cross functionally to provide and integrate modern deployment solutions for all endpoints, cloud-first strategies, and related initiatives. You will be expected to participate in specific project rollouts, merger and acquisition activities, and operational activities as needed. This role is an individual contributor position.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Serves as a lead expert in implementing and innovating Modernized Endpoint solutions for SCJ application and infrastructure owners, specifically around Mobile & Endpoints with Microsoft Intune
- Stays current and relevant through research and industry connections to provide a progressive approach within the End User Computing space at SC Johnson
- Set standards and SLAs for Managed Service Providers and serve as a final escalation point for issues
- In collaboration with IT Security function recommends and evaluates new IT security policies, technologies etc
- Develops and implements/updates Endpoint standards, policies, and procedures
- Manages vendor relationships, ensures software licensing compliance
- Proactively identifies and recommends service capacity adjustments
- Ensures that SCJ standard infrastructure management processes are being followed, identifies procedural issues and leads actions to remediate and correct processing as needed (examples: change, work, problem management)
- Leads resolution of technical outages by engaging multiple teams and vendors, provides on-call service as assigned
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies
- University Degree and 6+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree and 4+ years relevant experience. Military experience consider in Lieu of education requirement
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Endpoint and Desktop Management space including but not limited to systems design, implementation and support with focus on infrastructure and application integration.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in two or more of the following:
- Administration, configuration and design for Endpoint Management
- (SCCM, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Cloud Management Gateway)
- Experience working with Active Directory, Microsoft Azure AD, SCCM
- Experience working in alternative Mobile Device Management platforms (JAMF, Xenmobile, etc.)
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies
- Transformative experience with Endpoint services in medium to large sized company
- Proven track record of a cross team collaborative approach
- Experience as an application developer working with Powershell, Java, MS SQL and XML
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to overcome difficult challenges
- Strong interpersonal and team building skills
- Microsoft or AWS certifications are a plus
Job Requirements
- Full time with occasional operational support outside core business hours
- Ability to travel when conditions return to normal ~10%
- Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees
