• Responsibilities. Participate in all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, specification, development of code, testing, review, and demonstrations. Work with product managers to review and refine software requirements for business objectives. Create design documents and write software modules for a distributed Java Spring application. Create automated tests using Junit and other test frameworks. Work with product managers, analysts, architects, and other engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement software solutions.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• Education and Experience. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field plus five (5) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master’s degree plus (2) years of experience.
• Work Experience. Two (2) years of experience must include: Java 8 and later; Java Spring; SOA; OOAD; OOP; Hibernate; JDBC; RESTful and SOAP-based web services, including JSON and XML; Unit testing frameworks, including Junit; Relational Databases; Object oriented design patterns; Distributed systems architecture; Scrum agile methodology; and Jenkins.
