Job Description:

  • Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will design and develop the data models and data warehouse including the loading of data, Data vault, and information marts.
  • The ideal candidate will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining the architecture for the EASE solution.
  • The Senior architect will, at minimum, perform the following:
  • Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for the cloud data warehouse.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and develop data models to support those requirements.
  • Create database scripts and power scripts including data definition language, database schemas, and roles, for all layers of the cloud data warehouse.
  • Work with other developers on extracting, loading, and transforming logic.
  • Applies and adapts data architecture principles, standards, concepts, practices, and techniques as appropriate in specific use cases.
  • Performs Data vault2 modeling and associated tasks.
  • Designs and implements Validator tests to ensure the integrity and quality of the data warehouse.
  • Writes and deploys code tall data warehouse environments.
  • Create views to support business user requirements.
  • Designs and implements role-based security throughout the data warehouse.
  • Qualifications: Seven years of data warehouse architect and/or modeling experience.
  • Three years experience working in a cloud environment, preferably in Snowflake.
  • BS in Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR a combination of experience in access of ten years data warehouse experience with at least 3 years working in a cloud environment, preferably Snowflake.
  • Experience developing in WhereScape RED and 3D.
  • Experience modeling using Data Vault 2 Methodology.
  • Experience with quality assurance testing.
  • Experience in the public healthcare industry.
  • Skills: Leadership.
