Red River is seeking a Sr. Data/Cloud consultant who helps our customers to adopt, manage, and optimize their data and cloud computing environments. They have expertise in a variety of areas, including data science, migrations, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure. The successful applicant will:

Assess customers data and cloud computing needs: This includes understanding the customers current data landscape, their goals for using data, and their budget.

Design and implement data and cloud computing solutions: This includes selecting the right tools and technologies and configuring them to meet the customers needs.

Migrate data to the cloud: This includes transferring data from on-premises systems to cloud-based storage and computing resources.

Manage and optimize data and cloud computing environments: This includes monitoring performance, ensuring security, and making changes as needed.

Provide training and support: This includes helping customers to learn how to use their data and cloud computing solutions effectively.

Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent work experience

5+ years of experience with using and engineering Data/Cloud solutions with related technologies

Experience and certifications with deployments in major MSP’s such as AWS or Azure, ideally in multiple clouds or private cloud

Understanding of automation, testing, orchestration, and configuration management with tooling such as Jenkins, Robot Framework, Cucumber, Selenium, Ansible, Puppet or Chef

Experience with integration and use of monitoring, alerting, reporting and analytics platforms such as Splunk, ELK or equivalent

Experience managing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) activities

Preferred but not required experience:

Experience working with Federal Customers

Understanding of FedRAMP, FISMA, DoD Impact Levels and NIST security guidance

Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and SAFe within Software/System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) plus Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with experience in teams from design, through build and test

Large complex enterprise experience – thousands of hosts, multiple complex applications, technical resources, strict process control, and regulatory compliance

Experience with architecture methods and frameworks including BPMN, FEAF, DoDAF, and UML

Understanding/experience with risk assessments such as RMF
