As the Director of Cloud Implementation, you will be responsible for developing and executing the cloud strategy for our organization.
Essential Duties And Functions.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of cloud architects, engineers, and administrators, providing clear direction, mentoring, and support. Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture within the team, ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with executive leadership, business units, and technology teams to understand business needs and drive cloud initiatives that align with strategic objectives. Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, providing guidance on cloud technologies and trends.
- Cloud Operations and Optimization: Oversee the operational aspects of cloud environments, including monitoring, performance optimization, and cost management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Budget and Resource Planning: Develop and manage the cloud budget, forecasting and allocating resources effectively. Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to optimize cloud spending and track return on investment (ROI).
- Technology Evaluation and Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies, trends, and industry best practices. Evaluate new tools, services, and platforms to drive innovation and enhance the organization's cloud capabilities.
- Risk Management and Security: Ensure the security and resilience of cloud-based systems and data. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement robust security controls, incident response plans, and disaster recovery strategies.

Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in leading cloud transformation initiatives within large enterprises.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and associated services.
- Extensive experience in cloud architecture, migration, and operations.
- Solid understanding of cloud governance, compliance, and risk management practices.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strategic mindset and the ability to align cloud initiatives with business goals.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred
- Experience in budget management, financial analysis, and resource planning.
- Relevant current certifications in cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator)
