Senior Observability Consultant
Observability Consultant – Overview - MUST RESIDE 2 hours from New York
As a Senior Observability Consultant at TSI Expert services, you’ll lead and inspire a larger project team, on projects that help our clients operate successfully. You will successfully collaborate with multiple stakeholders and colleagues across multiple specialisms which could include; end users, key client representatives, business analysts, designers, developers, operations teams and more.
You’re able to solve complex problems and are able to complete hands-on engineering tasks. You collaborate well with all of your customers and internal teams. Key Responsibilities
· Design, implement and maintain Observability Solutions including Splunk, Cribl & Elastic
· Stay up-to-date with Observability best practices
· Onboard complex data sources to an Observability tool
· Manage client relationships
· Work with customers to understand their data and technology challenges
· Provide pre-sales support
· Assist with customer training and adoption
Key Skills Required
· Worked with clients, managing their demands and expectations and challenging appropriately to truly understand the business need and requirements
· Must be proficient in a widely used Observability stack such as Splunk, Cribl or Elastic
· Must be willing to learn and gain new Observability certifications
Preferred in addition to Observability experience and qualifications, you should be
· Proficient in scripting languages (i.e. Python/Bash)
· Proficient in writing regular expressions
· Experienced with containerized solutions (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift)
· Experienced in cloud computing platforms AWS, Azure, or GCP
· Experienced in using PMO and ITSM tooling such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence
Certified in at least one of the following
· Splunk
· Cribl
· Elastic
