CW Information Systems Analyst II
This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.
This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.
The anticipated term of this engagement will be 6 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.
CW-Information Systems Analyst II
The Systems Analysis job participates in the designing of information systems that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. Working under general supervision, this job is responsible for analyzing information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system and preparing the design of possible systems solutions.
Key Responsibilities And Duties
- Defines system scope through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
- Prepares flow charts, models, and procedures and conducts feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.
- Prepares technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.
- Collaborates with system analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems and to determine project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, systems performance standards, and interfaces.
- Analyzes and proposes revisions to existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
- Assists in the development of training sessions and demos for end users.
- Monitors the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshooting problems, as necessary.

Required Skills
Experience supporting enterprise wide critical applications in a fast paced environment.
Support experience in Microservices using containerization and cloud technologies
Experience Database CRUD operations for problem solving, reports and restarting jobs
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace or Grafana
Proficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) of complex technical issues
Experience with containerization and Openshift
Strong experience with supporting applications in Unix/Linux environment
Strong experience with supporting CloudBees CD (ElecticFlow) deployments
Good understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code development using Terraform & Ansible or Python
Preferred Skills
Experience working with business partners and platform owners on their functional needs, translating needs into public/private cloud solutions for existing or new on premises application workloads
Experience with ITIL applications such as ServiceNow
Proficiency with Webserver technology, Apache Tomcat preferred
Experience with network load balancing such as F5
Ability to work with multiple IT partners in an application support role
