Position Summary


Indivior is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Analyst to be the strategic lead of our global AWS environment. The candidate will be an Evangelist with business analysis, training, and project management skills together with subject matter expertise skills with AWS infrastructure.


Essential Functions


The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Provide quality management of AWS server infrastructure including patch management and vulnerability remediation
  • An evangelist and strategic lead of AWS process maturation
  • Deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on AWS
  • Will be the subject matter expert for the AWS infrastructure
  • Implementing and controlling the flow of data to and from AWS
  • Selecting the appropriate AWS service based on compute, data, or security requirements
  • Identifying appropriate use of AWS operational best practices
  • Estimating AWS usage costs and identifying operational cost control mechanisms
  • Produce weekly activity reports, oral presentations, briefings, standard operating procedures (SOPs), software development life-cycle (SDLC) documents and checklists, risk and issues logs and required artifacts.
  • Will be subject matter expert on the utilization of AWS Systems Manager and Trusted Advisor


Minimum Qualifications


Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology is preferred


Experience


  • 2 – 3 or more years of hands-on experience operating AWS-based applications is preferable
  • Experience provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on AWS
  • Ability to identify and gather requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on AWS
  • Capabilities to provide AWS operations and deployment guidance and best practices throughout the lifecycle of a project
  • Working knowledge of Sophos UTM 9 on AWS
  • Experience with application / data migration to AWS
  • Linux and Windows server systems engineering & administration
  • Assist in developing and implementing cloud policy, threat, and risk documents.
  • Oversee implementation and operation of security controls, risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Experience scaling an application and/or its hosting environment to support increases in traffic.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High awareness of customer service
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport and communicate effectively at all levels and across disciplines

Certifications


  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect—Associate
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect—Professional preferred


Travel: <10% at direction of Global Network Infrastructure Service Lead
