Founder and serial entrepreneur Eric Litman (4 prior exits) is joined by an exceptional leadership team sourced from Peloton, Tonal, Amazon, Accenture, Apple, Bird, Meta, and Intuitive Surgical - together they are building this category-defining business. What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for all cloud engineering initiatives using Jira, ensuring alignment with company objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and manage dependencies, plan work across teams, and ensure successful project execution.
• Either be located in New York or spend at least one week a month working from New York to facilitate in-person collaboration and engagement.
• Lead the recruitment, development, and management of the cloud engineering function, encompassing API development, cloud monitoring, scale, security, and backend/cloud support for other engineering and business functions.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders on the progress, challenges, and achievements of the cloud engineering team's work.
• Take ownership of software compliance initiatives, including leading efforts to achieve SOC 2 compliance. This involves developing relevant policies and collaborating with vendors for tasks such as penetration testing.
• Ensure the cloud software is designed, implemented, and maintained to be highly available, scalable, and resilient.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the cloud engineering team, encouraging the exploration of new tools, technologies, and best practices.

What You'll Bring

• Over 10 years of experience working as a software engineering leader.
• Proven experience launching production software infrastructure leveraging a major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
• Expertise in developing and supporting production cloud microservices, with proficiency in Golang.
• Strong experience in supporting production relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead managers, along with a track record of leading teams of 20 or more engineers.
• Expert knowledge of the full software stack and agile development process.
• Familiarity with providing software support for a hardware product and supply chain.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in cloud computing to drive strategic decision-making and maintain our competitive edge.
