Systems Integration Solutions Specialist
Job Description
The Systems Integration Solutions Specialist is responsible and accountable for the quality and cohesion of systems solution components within an assigned domain and their conformance to approved GM IT standards and alignment with the future state enterprise and domain architectural goals. This includes both hands-on development of IT technology solution architectures as well as management of various architectural initiatives.
A Systems Integration Solutions Specialist should be able to look across the domains to ensure consistent alignment of technical solutions with the business goals and objectives of the supported unit. The architect provides industry leading technical direction and guidance to various project teams to ensure appropriate and cost-effective application of GM approved technologies. Ensures appropriate and effective data integration across multiple applications.
A Systems Integration Solutions Specialist is expected to master all the capabilities required of a Systems solutions architect and show expertise with various system development patterns, technologies, and integration processes. A Systems Integration Solutions Architect will mentor and direct less Lead solutions architects while contributing to multi-layered solution architectures that comprehend and specify business, application, data, and infrastructure designs.
- Responsible for leading the definition of application solution which includes evaluation, selection and integration of necessary technical components to create solution designs that support the defined functional and non-functional requirements.
- Responsible for definition of current state application and/or infrastructure architectures for the assigned domain areas.
- Responsible for development and approval of future state application architecture in an organized and cohesive manner using industry accepted frameworks.
- Understands, applies and recommends architecture principles in the context of a specific application solutions.
- Responsible for integration and cohesion of developed or reviewed architecture solutions across all architectural layers.
- Understands and comprehends the implications of technology decisions and recommendations across multiple domain areas.
- Ensure that designed or reviewed solutions conform to architectural requirements such as scalability, maintainability, reliability, extensibility, usability and security across multiple domain areas.
- Promotes innovation and application of emerging IT technologies within the context of a business domain area.
- Introduces technology innovation opportunities to the GM IT organization. Participates in the evaluation of new technologies for inclusion as GM IT standards.
- Provides guidance, coaching and/or training to others as appropriate. Holds themselves and others accountable for demonstrating GMs values and cultural behaviors. Models GM behaviors and creates a winning culture.
- Provide integration environment technical knowledge and experience during the planning, execution, and management of integrating new application integration technologies into the existing environment.
- Identify and resolve system integration issues
- Assist with identifying opportunities to enhance or improve business processes via integration, or, as necessary, minimize the impact of integration on those processes
- Manage data hygiene for all administrative application systems.
- Assess existing workflow and procedures to identify and remedy source of upstream and downstream data inconsistencies.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business, IT, mathematics, Engineering, computer science, or related disciplines
- 7 plus year of experience in cloud solutions

Additional Job Description
Compensation: The expected base compensation for this role is: $112,100- $175,400. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus/Equity Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
